Biography
 

Biography

​Olivia (Liv) Anderson is a first-year graduate student in the Department Africana Studies. She rec​​​eived her Bachelors of Arts in Africana Studies from the University of Delaware in the Spring of 2021. Once a Blue Hen, always a Blue Hen. She is originally from Woodbridge, New Jersey, but has been proud to call Delaware home during her studies. 


Her interests of study include Pan-Africanism, Colonialism in the African Diaspora, and the diasporic impact Black Nationalism had. Shortly before moving into Newark, Liv spoke as the guest speaker during the 2023 Africana Studies Departm​​​ent’s Spring 2023 Award & End of Year Reception this past spring.


When she isn’t studying up on her research interests, she is a cat mom and enjoys drawing, painting, and reading in her free time.​​
