Biography
Olivia (Liv) Anderson is a first-year graduate student in the Department Africana Studies. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Africana Studies from the University of Delaware in the Spring of 2021. Once a Blue Hen, always a Blue Hen. She is originally from Woodbridge, New Jersey, but has been proud to call Delaware home during her studies.
Her interests of study include Pan-Africanism, Colonialism in the African Diaspora, and the diasporic impact Black Nationalism had. Shortly before moving into Newark, Liv spoke as the guest speaker during the 2023 Africana Studies Department’s Spring 2023 Award & End of Year Reception this past spring.
When she isn’t studying up on her research interests, she is a cat mom and enjoys drawing, painting, and reading in her free time.
